HE IS RISEN !

HE IS RISEN !

Shall we deny him our feet to climb those stairs; shall we keep back those hands that he would use; and shall we seal the lips by which he would speak the tender message to the dying soul?

Nay, rather, shall we not say:

"Take my feet, and let them be
Swift and beautiful for thee.
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from thee.

"Take my hands, and let them move
At the impulse of thy love.
Take my voice, and let me sing
Always, only, for my King."

And by every movement of our bodies say to men as we pass on our pilgrim way: "I no longer live, but Christ liveth in me." So live that our lives shall be a demonstration that "Christ in us, the hope of glory," is the Indwelling Presence that guides us in that way.

GLORY POEM # 8

LIVING WATERS

Our soul remains unavailable to the wicked one,
onward we walk toward you, my God,
longing for only you  this day.
 A New Millennium underway
bringing us closer to your New Day,
when all will benefit from your provisions,
that of a surpassing love.
A free gift, you’ve extended to us,
a beautiful gem floating, floating,
within the limitations of your living waters,
brilliantly arrayed within its surroundings
of a camouflaged background
creating an image only a select few can admire.
Waters all aglow beneath the mire,
hatred & strife mare this life
but soon, The Beautiful Thing will transpire
ridding the surface of its scum, its dross,
then crystal clear, all will be,
leading to perfection intricately ,

By your side, LORD, before your throne,
a grand orchestra arranged for this occasion,
Angelic hosts with their harps
strumming, strumming,
cords never heard before as we kneel at your feet
singing our New Song.
Gratification will fill the atmosphere,
Vindication will be known everywhere,
For your WORD ALONE, is our Living Waters!
Walk with us, your sons, until then,
guide our every step,
grant us salvation by means of your SON,
give us a measure of your surpassing Love,
that we may bring our gift to your altar pure!
Something lies ahead, we must endure,
Our mustard seed of faith, Oh so small,
but a mountain, by means of this, will notably fall
leaving some under the rubble
as your New reigning king, CHRIST JESUS, echoes a Mighty Call !
