HE IS RISEN !

HE IS RISEN !

Shall we deny him our feet to climb those stairs; shall we keep back those hands that he would use; and shall we seal the lips by which he would speak the tender message to the dying soul?

Nay, rather, shall we not say:

"Take my feet, and let them be
Swift and beautiful for thee.
Take my lips and let them be
Filled with messages from thee.
"Take my hands, and let them move
At the impulse of thy love.
Take my voice, and let me sing
Always, only, for my King."

And by every movement of our bodies say to men as we pass on our pilgrim way: "I no longer live, but Christ liveth in me." So live that our lives shall be a demonstration that "Christ in us, the hope of glory," is the Indwelling Presence that guides us in that way.

PLATINUM GRACE

THE FINEST OF THE FINE,

MANY SEEK IT HERE TODAY,

LOOKING, LONGING FOR THINGS MADE OF GOLD

& GEMS THAT SPARKLE FOR US TO WEAR & HOLD.

BUT THE GRACE GIVEN TO US IS A JEWEL

SET IN PLATINUM FOR ALL TO SEE,

FOR AS WE WALK IN CHRIST FOOTSTEPS

OUR JOURNEY IS LONG, DAY AFTER DAY.

MANY WILL VIEW THE DAZZLE OF LIGHT

REFLECTING OFF US AS WE CONTINUE

TO WALK IN THE WAY.

FOR INSTEAD OF WEARING A JEWEL SO BEAUTIFUL.

WE BECOME A GEM SET IN PLATINUM

THE FINEST OF THE FINE,

DUE TO CHRIST AMAZING GRACE

What a wonderfully sad concept of Jesus—standing at the door knocking, softly yet persistently, seeking entrance. The basis for the picture is Revelation 3:20: ``Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.'' In the book Christ And The Fine Arts, someone has written about this picture: ``The picture portrays the moment when human destiny hangs in the balance, when Divine Love patiently waits upon human reluctance. Here is the perpetual issue between heaven and earth—choice. Here is the continual challenge of Christ to men. Here we see the ever-present appeal of love to lethargy. It is acall to decision in stained-glass.'' As beautiful as this window is, its somber message can never be escaped. God, in all His love and persistence, will never cross the line of human freedom. Jesus the Savior stands at the door of our hearts and knocks, waiting for our response. Not even God's great love will force open the heart's door. Ultimately, the decision to open the heart to Christ, or to leave it shut tightly against him, rests with the individual. Such a reality is both wonderful and fearful—wonderful in that God has granted us such a choice; fearful in that so much of our destiny hangs on that choice. Thus, in this beautiful yet somber scene, we are faced with the eternal choice between opening our hearts to Christ or allowing the door to remain shut for all time. An unknown poet has stated in penetrating words:

O Jesus, Thou art standing
Outside the fast-closed door;
In lowly patience waiting
To pass the threshold o'er:
Shame on us, Christian brethren,
His name and sign we bear,
Oh, shame, thrice shame upon us

To keep him standing there.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY

BECOMING “BORN AGAIN” IN CHRIST
(John 3 ; 3)

One quiet evening back in 1988, I was channel surfing when up came a Christian Ministry which was just ending. Any other time I would have continued to surf further, but this particular evening I found myself frozen as I heard the Pastor say; if anyone out there wants to have a personal relationship with our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, ask him to forgive you of your sins & come into your heart. I sat there staring at this man who was so sincere in his plea for all to come to salvation through Christ Jesus by means of this simple prayer. Too simple, I thought. But I could not think of any reason not to say this prayer in earnest, for of course I loved Jesus & I did feel I knew him but what was this simple prayer all about? Had I missed something in my 20 years of bible study with a group called “Jehovah’s Witnesses”? I was a Christian and I did live a moral lifestyle, but still, something inside of me would not let me go to sleep that night until I said those simple words in a sincere prayer from my heart.

Now it just so happened that my life at that time was upside down in many ways. I was suffering from a muscle disorder leaving me in excruciating pain, top to bottom. Doctors could not figure it out. My husband had not worked for some time & bills were piling up. There was much friction in our home due to my oldest son & his stepfather’s lack of communication. I had been praying daily for a breakthrough, saying I couldn’t live one more day under all the pressure. I had set my mind to moving to Colorado thinking the air there would be better for my health & it would be a new start in life. But little did I know that by praying my prayer of salvation that night, God had a brand NEW divine plan for me. I only can write of this now looking back over the past 22 years since I asked Christ to come into my heart. HIND SIGHT IS 20/20.
SUCH A SIMPLE PRAYER WHICH MADE SUCH A DRASTIC CHANGE IN MY LIFE !
So began a 22 year to date personal journey !

All my plans I had planned for was somehow diverted, step by step. I could see my life was going in a much different direction, not one I embraced happily. But I was too weak to argue, so I found myself just going with the flow. At times it felt like it was just too much to bear. Oh, by the way, did I tell you I completely forgot about giving my life to Christ, it was just something that got done & life’s problems kept me from even thinking of that night again until May of ‘94, 5 years later! I was sitting on my porch praying to my Heavenly Father, thanking him for the many blessings which I had come to receive from ‘88 to ‘94 and was amazed at the huge turn around my life had taken. But up till this day in May, never did I put it all together. Never did I think about that sinners prayer asking Christ to “COME INTO MY HEART” back in ‘88.

THEN THE AMAZING THING HAPPENED !
In the middle of thanking God for my “diagnosed illness”now living without pain due to a correct prescription I could handle a lucrative NEW BUSINESS which seemed to have come out of nowhere!
Which in turn, allowed me to buy a small quaint home which I now own, (my dream home). And though I never got to Colorado, my new destination was & is HOME SWEET HOME, even today, 22 years from my original opposite plan I had outlined for myself. Yes, in the middle of this prayer of thankfulness for all my new blessings, I was stopped in an instant as I found myself turning my head to the left saying the word ............
“WHAT”? Then I turned my head to the right & said again “WHAT”?? It was a moment in time I shall NEVER forget ! It was like someone had whispered in my ear something very, very, very special & little did I know yet what that special thing was until I began to flow over with a downloading of spiritual words which I was COMPELLED to write
down as it came into my mind & heart. I never wrote poetry before, yet everything was coming to me in poetic form. Teachings divinely given to me to explain step by step the journey I was about to take, a process of growing into the likeness of Christ. I still am overcome with Holy Spirit at times when I MUST write down what I’m told, sometimes in the middle of the night. WHAT A BLESSING !

YOU TOO ARE INVITED TO HAVE CHRIST COME INTO YOUR HEART & LIFE ! (Rev.3:20,21)

Each poem you are about to read will reveal the struggles I dealt with throughout my journey, but too, what visions of Glory I was able to be enlightened with in between the stepping stones of life as my mind was continuing to be renewed. (Eph. 4:23, 24). We become a New Creature in Christ & we make many mistakes along the way. Please do not get discouraged, we are all imperfect in the flesh, but look to the Holy Spirit to guide you to a higher place in your spirit, where you will begin to see a New YOU! For once your become born again in Christ you become born of the Spirit. Through His amazing GRACE, our sins are covered by His blood He shed for all mankind.

THIS BOOK

This book of poems is my way of encouraging you to take the same steps I took. Ask Jesus to come into YOUR HEART today. You will never regret that one important decision ! Become joint heirs with him in his Kingdom with the rest of his followers. Just believe he died for your sins & after 3 days he was resurrected & very, very, very soon he is coming back for those of us who have this personal relationship with him & have our names written in the book of life in Heaven ! Oh, and enjoy the blessings untold which will most definitely come out of nowhere when you least expect it. Remember, once becoming “Born Again”, you become a child of God & a citizen of Heaven with an open communication directly to your Heavenly father through Christ Jesus. What more could one possibly desire !

About Me

I am an EX Jehovah's Witness of 20 yrs, now "BORN AGAIN" in CHRIST. My journey began in 1988 which led me to "THE TRUTH" Jesus Christ, my personal Lord & Savior. I was truly called out from among them, “THE WITNESSES”. I was so brainwashed by their belief system, that it was ONLY by the GRACE of God that I was literally removed from them to come into the presence of the LORD! Once accepting Christ I had moments of awe when his Holy Spirit would come upon me & I would overflow with a download of spiritual thoughts which would beacon to be written immediately as it came into my mind & heart. What I thought was just a one time event turned out to be a 20 year journey of divine poetry writings teaching me the real TRUTH about Christ and becoming "A NEW CREATION" in him.(EPH. 4:24) I now have a 200 page publication filled with divine poems & short stories which captivated the mind & soul as I grew more & more into his likeness & image. I named "my book" POETIC RHYME DIVINE featuring "HOPE & THE INVITATION" to Christ!

As you read each poem which is dated, you will not only relate to my everyday spiritual struggles, but you will become very versed in how HARD it was to let go of THE LIES taught to me for 20 years. As you read each poem, it will become apparent how utterly confused I was in the beginning of my NEW JOURNEY WITH CHRIST. As a witness, I prayed to God by NAME, JEHOVAH, rather than as FATHER as you will note in the first part of my book. Then as you come to the middle of the book, you begin to see the transformation of me growing into the mindset of what being “BORN AGAIN” really meant. It was a process that took much time to expunge the cult's FALSE teachings as I struggled to except what the Holy Spirit was revealing to me on a regular basis. It is my prayer that my book finds others who have or are contemplating surrendering their lives to Christ, especially if they are being freed from the bondage of a cult, especially from being a Witness!

ATONMENT DAY; THE HOLIEST DAY TO GOD

"…let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of Life, which is in the midst of the Garden of YHVH." Revelation 2:7 Roots Of Our Faith The Fall Festivals Of Israel Rosh HaShanah by haRold Smith from Jerusalem, Israel Then YHVH spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath-rest, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work on it; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to YaHoVeH.' " Leviticus 23:23-25 At sundown today begins the first of what is known in Israel as "The High Holy Days" or "Days of Awe" (they are also known as the "Days of Repentance", Amos 3:6). "Rosh HaShana" ushers in the beginning of these ten days of repentance leading up to "Yom Kippur," the Day of Atonement. Rosh HaShanah is at once solemn and joyful. It is solemn because of the Awe of judgment. It is joyful because it represents the hope of the future redemption of Israel. The more common Biblical name is "Feast of Trumpets" because of the accompanying blasting of the shofar - a ram's horn. Rosh HaShanah marks the day on which Adam, the first Hebrew, was created in which YHVH "breathed into his nostrils the breath of Life." (Genesis 2:7). It is through recreating this experience that we are able to relive it - it is this same breath which YHVH breathes into those who have received ruach hakodesh (Hebrew for spirit of the holy) that we employ to blow the shofar and thereby proclaim testimony to our creation and to the King Who created us! The Hebrew word Rosh means 'head' or 'beginning', Ha means 'the' and Shanah means 'year', thus, it has come to be traditionally celebrated as the "Jewish New Year" in an appeasement to other world cultures; but scripture clearly gives the distinction of the beginning of the physical year to the same month that Pesach (Passover) is celebrated, The New Year begins on the 1st of Nisan (Leviticus 23:5) while Rosh HaShanah is celebrated on the 1st of Tishri (the seventh month - Leviticus 23:24). Scripturally, Rosh HaShanah has nothing in common with the beginning of a physical "new year" other than an optimistic new beginning in spirit that will prevail over the coming weeks and months. There are several customs traditionally associated with Rosh Hashanah: the dipping of bread into honey after kiddush (the prayer over wine sanctifying the Sabbath or a holiday) and haMotzi (the blessing said before eating bread), as a symbol of the hope that the new year will be sweet; dipping pieces of apple into honey for the same reason (also, the apple is said to symbolize the Divine Presence); the use of round loaves of bread instead of the usual braided hallah (some say the round shape symbolizes a crown); avoidance of any kind of nuts (not a reference to your neighbor) because the numerical value of the Hebrew word for "nut" is the same as the word for "sin"; and the Tashlikh ceremony in which "sins" are ceremoniously tossed into a river and washed away, as penitential prayers are said. But far and away, the most obvious distinguishing feature of Rosh Hashanah is the blowing of the shofar, or ram's horn. The Biblical name for this holiday is, in fact, Zichron Teruah (remembrance of the shofar blast), or Yom Teruah (day of the shofar blast). In Biblical times the Shofar was blown to Hail the King, on this day it’s said that all Israel is believed to be before the King in anticipation of personal judgment. Unlike Pesach (Passover), the Bible does not clearly identify Rosh Hashanah with a historical event, so we must look to tradition to discover its significance. According to Talmudic (oral) tradition, the Ten Days of Awe, beginning at Rosh Hashanah, are the time in which YHVH determines the fate of each human being, a time of judgment. In the Synagogue the Shofar (trumpet) is blown daily to be sure that everyone knows that the time of Judgement is near. (Zephaniah. 1:14-16). On Rosh HaShanah, the wholly righteous are supposedly inscribed in the Sefer ha-Hayyim, or Book of Life, while the wholly wicked are inscribed in the Book of Death. The fate of all others hangs in the balance until Yom Kippur. Consequently, it is a time for introspection, for taking stock of one's behavior over the past year, making amends for any wrongdoing and restoring severed relationships - first with YHVH and then with men. One very interesting ceremony of Rosh Hashanah is the custom of "Tashlich". This Hebrew word Tashlich means “you shall cast unto the sea”. In a Tashlich service, worshippers go to a body of water such as a stream or an ocean to toss the contents of their pockets into it while reciting passages such as Micah 7:19 as a symbol of sin being swallowed up in forgiveness and Psalm 103:11-12 to remind us of just how far YHVH has removed that forgiven sin from us. This is not the only place in the Tanach (Old Testament) where God speaks of such total forgiveness for His people. Jeremiah 31:33-34 says: "For I will forgive their iniquities and remember their sins no more." Only one verse before, God declares that one day he will make a New Covenant (Brit Hadashah) with Israel, and put his Torah in their minds and write it on their hearts. The Torah teaches that atonement requires the shedding of blood, i.e., a sacrifice (Leviticus 17:11-12). Yet, there is no more temple in which to make the sacrifice, so how can there be atonement? It is impossible to keep the Torah completely as long as there is no temple. The rabbis declared that prayers would take the place of the sacrifices, but is that really enough? If prayer is as good as sacrifice, why did YHVH ever demand sacrifice in the first place? Would HaShem allow the temple, so central to His service, to be taken away for so long without putting an alternative plan in place? If YHVH has allowed the temple to lie in ruins for so long, could it be that it is because he has provided another way? Suppose someone you know to be reliable gives you directions to someplace and you suddenly find yourself at a dead end. You know the directions are good, so you back up to see if you missed a turn somewhere. Those directions are the Torah and the prophets. The dead end is the Hurban (catastrophe). The missed turn is the fulfillment of the Covenant -- one that doesn't need a physical temple, because the ultimate sacrifice has already been made, making all other sacrifice obsolete. The Hebrew prophets predicted that a "Righteous Servant" would some day make such a sacrifice. Now, this is something to shout about, to sound a trumpet over - to Hail a King! (Isaiah 53:6-12). The Brit Hadashah (New Testament) also associates the sound of the shofar with the coming of Messiah (1Thessalonians 4:16-17). Yeshua is that Righteous Servant - what other candidates are there? His Atonement is the basis of the fulfillment of the Covenant spoken of by Jeremiah. If the New Testament is true ("Testament" is simply another word for Covenant or "Brit"), it proves that YHVH has not abandoned Am Yisrael (the people of Israel). Scripture shows that YHVH sent His Son to rescue His people from their sins as a prerequisite to the final restoration of Israel to the Land, when YaHoVeH Himself will rule over them as King. Marana Tha! (Aramaic for "Our Lord, Come!" - see the Need For Atonement). "For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins." Romans 11:24-27

LORD; SHOW ME YOUR GLORY

Hudson Taylor, the missionary to China, said, "We are changed by beholding." He may have had 2 Corinthians 3:18 in mind. "But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." Isaiah was changed by beholding the glory of God, the awesome revelation of his holiness (Isa. 6:1-8).

For years every January I would take some time with God and ask him what he wanted me to pray for the year. And for years, the answer was the same, "Show me your glory." When you come face to face with God's holy glory, you do one of two things: run away or run to his grace for transformation. Ponder the prayer requests of Moses: "Let me know Your ways that I may know You. Show me Your glory. Go among us (Exo. 33:11-19, 34:5-10)." Consider the price of speaking intimately with God friend-to-friend. Is the price worth the glory? What heart attitudes does God need to transform, so that you can see all God's goodness and know him as he really is? As you are convicted by the character of the Glory at whom you gaze, make Psalm 51:10-11 your prayer: "Renew my spirit" from glory to glory.

Just between you and God, pray through these transformation points in the verses below. "By your Spirit and for Your glory, renew in me a right spirit of ____________ . DO YOU HAVE A CALL ON YOUR LIFE ?

Were you aware that every Christian has a call on their life from God? It is a universal call, and that call is “to do good works”.

Just so no one misunderstands … Christians do not get saved (forgiven) from their sins by “doing good works,” nor do they STAY saved (forgiven) by “doing good works.” Christians are not justified by "doing good works" either. Christians are saved solely by BELIEVING (trusting) that Jesus Christ paid full penalty for ALL their sins by His dying on the cross and taking full punishment that they deserved for their sins, and they are justified by BELIEVING as well.

Thus Christians are not saved BY their good works. Christians are saved to DO good works. It is crucially important to know the difference.

Then what purpose does “doing good works” have? What’s the point in engaging in “good works”? Engaging oneself in “good works” is openly demonstrating our appreciation to God for saving us -- openly looking for ways to glorify Him -- and it's the means by which we lay up rewards in heaven.

Listed below are numerous scriptures addressing “good works”. Let them speak for themselves:

"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16)

Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.” (Matt. 16:24-27)

But Jesus answered them, "My Father has been working until now, and I have been working." (John 5:17)

"But I have a greater witness than John's; for the works which the Father has given Me to finish - the very works that I do - bear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. (John 5:36)

"Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?" Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent." (John 6:27-29)

And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. "I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. (John 9:2-4)

Jesus answered them, "Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?" (John 10:32)

"If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; but if I do, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and believe that the Father is in Me, and I in Him." (John 10:37-38)

"Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” (John 14:10-12)

For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. (1 Cor. 3:11-15)

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Cor. 15:57-58)

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. As it is written: "He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever." (2 Cor. 9:7-9)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. (Colossians 1:9-12)

This is a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. (1 Timothy 3:1)

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. (1 Timothy 6:17-19)

Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity." But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work. (2 Timothy 2:19-21)

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. (Titus 1:16)

Likewise exhort the young men to be sober-minded, in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you. (Titus 2:6-8)

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. (Titus 2:11-14)

But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. (Titus 3:4-8)

And let our people also learn to maintain good works, to meet urgent needs, that they may not be unfruitful. (Titus 3:14)

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:23-25)

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21)

What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe; and tremble! But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God. You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. (James 2:14-24)

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:26)

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy. Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation. (1 Peter 2:9-12)

Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Write: 'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' " "Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them." (Revelation 14:12-13)

"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last." Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:12-14)
